Here we go again...... It's the first week of the new S.A.B.A. summer leagues and we got off to a fantastic start with a great win.

LA MARINA PILOTS. We were up against the Quesada Lancasters, and came away with 4 wins and 2 draws, which gave us 12 points to 2 and shots of 108-85.

Results were, Barbara Forshaw, John Rae and Tom Spencer 17-17. Paul Tregoing, Robert Finlayson and captain Margaret Finlayson 11-11, Martin Butler Jim Freeman and John Morgan 20-15, Alan Wilcock, Berni Carr and Brian Duff 20-16, Brian Murray Phil Pape, Ted Winters 18-16. but top of the lot today were Mo Taylor, Mike Brain and Dave Taylor 22-10.

Our game today was against Greenlands Glosters and it looks like our winning streak is keeping going, the result was an amazing 14 points to nil and shots were 141-87

It was a high scoring game all round, well done everyone, but a special mention must go to Mo Taylor, Mike Surch and Dave Taylor who were behind on the last end, Dave was asked to pick up the jack which he did....and claimed 7 to win the game.
