We arrived at BONALBA expecting the rain which had been forecast for the afternoon, but it stayed dry and the round was played in slightly overcast conditions and with a pleasant temperature.

The BONALBA Club deserve thanks for providing excellent prizes on the day for which we are very grateful.

A mixed bag as far as scores were concerned but the leading scores were impressive.

Nearest the pins were won by the usual suspects,President Barry Thorogood,Norman Pickett and the Secretary, Alan Craig[x2].

Third place in the competition went to Jimmy Scott with 33pts,on countback losing to John Thompson in 2nd place.

Winner, with a great score of 36 points was Eric Taylor,with whom I played and saw him drive the ball into the lake on the 18th which he assured me had nothing to do with protecting his handicap.

Unfortunately he had to fly to the U.K. after his round and was not there to receive his prizes which consisted of green fees ,buggies and dinner for 4 people.Many thanks to BonAlba for supplying this great prize.

Our next meeting is at Las Colinas 0920 start on 11th December for a great price of 40 Euros.
