The needy of San Fulgencio and Urb la Marina

As many of you might know, we had a fundraising night at the Hillside on 2nd December, (kindly organised by Mandy from Stars in the bars), which raised a fantastic sum of €600(which includes a very kind donation of €150 from the hillside). There was also a kind donation of €50 which was handed into the Jeff's office. In total this amounted to €650 .

we then went to lidls and spent the money on non perishable goods, which has now been distributed to the families as per the list supplied by the social services. Also Eugene and family from posh palace donated an enormous amount of fresh fruit and veg a big thanks to them.

All this means that we were able to give food parcels (and toys kindly donated by members of the public) to 190people of which there were 70 families which included 55children under the age of 13.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to this cause including the volunteers who helped to parcel up and distribute this food, and without the help of the staff of the urbanisation office this would not be possible
