SAT'S Charity CHRISTMAS FETE

I have been asked by The Manageress of SAT'S Eve Waring to put the following posting up here.

SAT'S Christmas Fete will be held on Saturday 3rd December in front of the shop, beneath the launderette, behind the Deutche Bank on Plaza Sierra Castilla on Urbanisation La Marina.

It is being held from 11.00 am. until 3 pm.

There will be stalls selling Home made Knits, Cards Calendars and a special Christmas CD recorded for S.A.T. by Steve Gosney from Matlock in Derbyshire. Lucky Dip, Teddy Tombola, Christmas decorations, Cakes and Savouries and a large Raffle with over 30 prizes.

If anyone has anything to donate for the raffle, bric-a-brac or cake stalls, please the the items into the S.A.T.s charlity shop.

Don't forget SAT Fete this saturday 11.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m. Our raffle now has over 40 prizes. Hopefully we will have a visit from, no not Santa Claus, a few of our little friends needing a new home. They need their own Santa or Mother Claus to give them a new home. keeping my fingers crossed the weather is fine, but we have a continguency plan. If it is raining the ferreteria has given us permission to use the back of their premises, which is next to the launderette, so we will be in the dry if it rains. The shop will be open as usual so please come and pick up a bargain.

Just got back from the S.A.T's Fete and there has been a very good turnout of people - very lucky with the weather also. A good variety of things to buy and some lovely sausage rolls, fairy cakes, Christmas cakes etc. Still time to go along. It finishes at 3.00 pm.

Was an excellent turn-our Carol and it stayed dry all day, huge thanks to Eve for all her hard work with the organising, also the wonderful volunteers who worked on the stalls, Gleyns from S.A.T.s who brought up some on the dogs and finally the public who supported the event and raised over 700 euros.

I will add my thanks to everyone who turned out yesterday to give us their support. The girls who helped out on the Stalls, Angie, the manageress from Los Montesinos shop and her husband Dave, and also Mr & Mrs Bignall who came up from Torreveija and donated there takings to SAT, and last but by no means least Francoise from Gran Alacant. It is nice to have people you can rely on. I had better mention my husband Tom and Linda & Ronnie Reed otherwise I will be down the kennels in the DogHouse.
