Councillor Wisznieski.. "ITS OK TO KILL ANIMALS"

Andi,Regarding the statement attributed to Jeff via another website.
As you may be aware,I do not often agree with Jeff,but a statement which i saw from him,was worded differently,What i saw was Jeff saying humans before animals,a statement which I personally agree with.
the forum you read it on,you must fully be aware is not exactly a forum but one persons opinion,who in my opinion is also an animal lover like yourself,and may be prone to mis represent what is actually been said.
I wrote on this forum recently,that the council were on a vendetta against a certain ex-councillor,perhaps this sort of thing is retaliation.

Alan i get what you are saying but there is a opinion then a statement and with a statement like that maybe your causing trouble for yourself. I can understand some sort of reatliation if thats whats gone on but from the paper clipping of "humans before animals" to "its ok to kill animals" is a big change of words. I know everyone has a big opinion on this subject and towards a ex-councillor, as many people do know my mum runs impact charity shop along with other volunteers who give up there time and its like we all have opinions of this and that, but hold on lets forget you, me and him/her because its not about any of us. Its about what each charity are working towards and helping. Everyone is begining to create a mist around the real topic and instead making it about him/her me,you them, us blah blah... This urb is one of the biggest there is and we do not have our own animal shelter or some sort of grounds in San Fulgencio, we cant lay the blame on the council for that at all as Jeff and yourself said but, if all the charities who donate and support animals got together on a mass fund raising adventure im sure there would be enough money raised to start some sort of process for a shelter. I would even go as far as saying why cant we have donation buckets at the town halls for this campaign. Wether we like it or not the time is going to come where it will have to happen when these charities stop runing around eachother and run into eachother get over there obstacles and make it happen..

If you look into the la marina info sight you should fine a piece from the coastrider about what jeff was reported as saying,which was lost or stray animals,firstly attempts to be made to find the owner secondly attempts be made to rehome,as a last resort old or sick animals should be put down.
Underneath was a piece about what a person was told by jeff about animals being sent to IPA which jeff thought was an rescue centre but as the info. said was an animal cemetry.
I do not know exactly who said what to whom and when.but I stake my integrity that anybody in any sort of important job,would not make a statement to a newspaper,such as advocating animals to be put down willy nilly,unless he wants to never be voted back into any worthwhile job again.

Dear all concerned, I can say with hand on heart that no such a comment every came from me. I would never say something that I did not believe. If an animal has the chance of living a happy and full life, it should always be afforded that opportunity. I personally hate to think of animals that are very old or infirm, being kept alive by owners because they are either too selfish or unable to afford the fees. Quality of life must be paramount when deciding on the treatment for ailing pets. When I had to take the dreadful decision to terminate the life of our own dog Rosie, it was with a heavy heart. I am not too proud to admit that I cried. I know from the many concerned animal lovers in our community how they feel and I empathise with them all.
I too would like to know which Newspaper was responsible for such a statement. There is a Law in Spain known as Delitos del Honor, which makes it a very serious offence for a someone to print lies or distortions of the truth, that can hurt either by accident or by design, the reputation of another.

Jeff in no way am i throwing a curve ball at you with what i stated above. When i saw you at the start of the year you new exactly where i was coming from and about what topics too. I put this on here hoping you would reply to it due to the fact it is on someones personal website and im glad you spoke up. Theres a line you dont cross when it comes to splashing someones name around on a website with a statement that does not exsist to the true words of "its ok to kill animals". Its all good saying people word things in other ways but theres no words you can re-write to the point where you end up with "its ok to kill animals".
