Our Train

We should all have a ride on the train Alice if it decides to run again.

Sorry Alice I dont know if the train will resume, but I will make enquiries with the Tourism Councillor in the morning and hopefull get back to you an answer soon.

That would be good Jeff if you can find this out, and also if people knew where abouts the train goes to - you would be able to plan your day and where you wished to go. Thank's

We could have a forum outing with Alice, who seems a dear old "LADY", as the V.I.P. traveller, as she seems to be the oldest person on the forum. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

We would need about 3 trains to do that Eve as membership of the forum is rising at a steady rate. Far more watchers than posters, most people are shy.

I have been informed that the train was a private enterprise and subsidised by the Town Hall. We are looking at providing a bus service covering the same routes but running all year. Unfortunately everything is down to cost and getting value for money.
