Could you tell me why some of the cul-de-sacs on Calle Paris are in a dire state"
Ours is one next to the passage to the Verde.
The rain runs down the road' ont one way bet four ways three being down Calle Paris the other from the parque opposite"
When it wains it brings down all the rubbish from these areas and deposits them on the dip in the road.
Alł the water runs down Calle Paris towards houses numbered 81-95.
Our house has had 600mm of water in a small store (under house) in the past.
A drain at the top would remove all this water and then you might look into repairing the road which has been destroyed by the water.

yes i live at 75 calle paris and when it rains the whole street gets floodwd and all the water runs down the hill and from the parque. it uses my garder as a way through tp the verde!!!
been to the councill many times over a period of 15 years never done a thing,only to send a man to sweep up after the water has all gone.asked if they could put a drain in like the one in calle lisba but nothing we keep waiting and waiting

I would like to comment also, as I live in the same the same cul-de-sac.
In addition to the water problem mentioned, it needs re-surfacing, there are
lots of holes, and because of them I fell and broke my foot!! It is dangerous, it needs repairing please.

good morning GERRY hARVEY.=45.,I have been this mornig with the technician to chek the problem with the rainy waters.=We need to make big and expensive works there ,from house 71 to house 79 ,we need to place two scuppers and dig a ditch all along with big pipes,we will try to added to this year butget ..I have been talking with your neighbor from house 75......cheers Councillor Paulino

Thanks for your reply. Yes having drains installed in the top of the road will have effect on the amount of rain running down our road, but as you can appreciate our road has been badly damaged over time due to the rainwater running down the road. Our road is on a bad state of repair and is somewhat dangerous with pot holes and loose gravel. A new layer of Tarmac on our road Is a long awaited improvement. Can I make a suggestion as to where the drain is positioned, being at the top of the road to houses 81-95, this will also aliviate the problem for house 71-79.
