The SATS Charity (The Dog House)
After helping to raise funds and donating money to SATS, can i be put at ease that the latest addition to THE DOG HOUSE, a 46inch Plasma Tv and SKY SPORTS have been donated and that the money from mine and friends pockets and the hard working efforts have not paid for people to watch TV??
I believed the money would go directly to benefiting the DOGS and the staff that work at the Kennels, not to aid a bar!!
Brilliant thread, not only has a charity been questioned as to its motives, but a new bar as well, alongside getting a dig in at Montys bar. All that is missing, is some mention of how its all Jeffs fault and I think you'll have a full house.
What a very dedicated gentleman he must be. To put his hand in is pocket and pay out for a large television plus the installation is unbelievable. SAT Animal Rescue should be proud to have him. With people like him on board, how can these Charities fail.
My understanding when I was admiring the TV in question this morning whilst waiting for my ( excellent value ) burger was, what a nice telly, the manager said yes I know it means we now open longer and show live sports, meaning that we get more people in, they spend more money. This means that more dogs will be helped or fewer dogs will die,
It Should also be noted that the name of the charity is "Sociedad Protectora para Animales de Torrevieja" this is shortened to "S.A.T" not sats, slat, platts or anything else, sorry just winds me up that people dont look or read properly.

Forget charity bars, all bars showing Sky are doing it illegally, Do you have British TV? If so that is probably also illegal.

I have had a conversation with the manager of the Dog House , he as paid for the tv system out of is own pocket. This bar is doing quite well ,customers who used Montys are now using the Dog House. The manager is doing a great job so why people have to slate the bar I dont understand, all the profit the bar makes goes to SATS the more happy customers the bar as the more SATS make.
