Well, you are coming at the beginning of "The season" and leaving at the end, aren't you? This wouldn't be seen as a long term rental, but as a Holiday rental. Are you expecting to pay holiday period rent?
I realise that it is not a long term rental the original poster requires but nor is it a holiday let as such, so if they do as I suggested and then contact the Agent I'm sure that they can come to some agreement over the rental cost.
Holiday rents, per WEEK, are roughly the same price as long term rents per MONTH, wouldn't you agree?
In my previous post, I was hinting that renting for the whole of the Summer season would probably work out dearer than renting for a long period during the Winter.
I agree. However, as I stated because the Original Poster wants to rent for approx 14 weeks, I am sure that the owner/Agent would be happy to reach a mutual agreement on the cost with the renter. After all many Holiday homes don't get let out for the entire season and I know of some that only have several weeks worth of bookings for this summer.
