Danny-Ray-Buddy Danny Ray evokes the spirit of Buddy by playing all the hits such as : “That''ll Be The Day”, “Peggy Sue”, True Love Ways”, “Rave On” & “It Doesn't Matter Anymore”. Songs such as “Raining In My Heart”, “Words Of Love”, “Not Fade Away”, “I''m Gonna Love You Too” have been covered by The Beatles, The Stones, Leo Sayer & Blondie over the decades.
In two parts, Danny''s show takes you from the early years when Buddy recorded rock and roll classics by Little Richard : “Ready Teddy”, “Rip It Up” and Elvis Presley: “ Baby You''re So Square” through to the set of songs that Buddy played at his last gig at the Surf Ballroom in Clearlake, Iowa. Danny also performs songs from the many artists that copied Buddy''s style, including Tommy Roe and Bobby Vee
