Lloyds bank in Guardamar Closing down today
To anyone with an account at Lloyds Bank. You have visited this Bank for the last time,Went in this morning to close my account, was told it couldn't be done as the branch was closing down today (Lloyds Bank was bought out by Sabadell about a year ago) and the only way to close the account was to go to the Torrievieha Branch next week.
So much for good service by Sabadell,I gather that if you don't mind paying their exorbitant service charge and the crap service you will get ,and you wish to stay with them, then the Sabadell Branch in the main area will remain open (presumably)
Yes Alan, we went yesterday, we were able to draw our money out at the branch, but we had to go all the way down to Torrevieja. So glad we got our new bank account up and running and the Deutsche bank on Tuesday.
Very sad though as we had banked firstly with the Halifax Banco Hispania and then when it changed to Lloyds, stayed with them.
