Can I ask if anyone has any experience of being denounced and taken to court in Spain? I have a court case pending where I am the innocent party but have been denounced! When it is proved that the other party is to blame (I do hope!) what happens about court fees? It has cost a fortune so far and now my solicitor is asking for more. I am hoping that these fees are repaid? If not, what a ridiculous system! Any help gratefully received. Thank you

I think that is a question that you should be asking your solicitor. Also I believe there is a law society here and you can get assistance with court cost if you fit the criteria.

Mitchallen65, Alan usually welcomes first posters on this forum but I'll do it in his place.
Personally I'd go to any one of the political parties in La Marina to ask advice as they must know where all the legal fee's go air their 'Spats' in court.
