IMPACT CHARITIES FUNDING....

Can someone tell me if Impact charity shop is what was once the La Marina animal welfare shop that used to support Easy Horse Care, and if so why are they no longer supporting them?

Don. It was originally impact charity. When two of the orginal founders decided to go back to England a new committee was installed and it was then decided that the charity would go through the process of changing its name to La Marina animal Welfare. When that happend the association members and committee decided to concentrate mainly on animals when infact when the charity was set up it was for children and animals as it states in the charities constitution.
When the new committee took over in 2011 all paperwork was handed over to a solicitor to make sure everything was in order, like a goverment does when a new goverment comes in. It was then discovered that the last committee never took the final steps in completing the registration for la marina animal welfare. The charity was then adivised by the solicitor to revert back to the original name of the charity or we could take the final step to register the la marina animal welfare name but we were told it would be costly. So the association voted on staying with the original name.
As for funding, funding is decided on yearly vote by the whole association. Proposals are put forward by the committee and members, its then voted on by association members. For this year it was voted on that impact charity would support EMAUS, PAWS and FINCA LUCENDUM.
