Noise from the Bars on the Consum aras

I tend to agree with a lot of what Christine says, yes I use to use her bar and the one thing she did was to keep the noise inside her bar, she insisted that you kept the doors CLOSED. Yes she has told me off for leaving the inner door open and standing by the bar.
I guess the big difference is that she DID contain the noise, both music and people noise inside her establishment, not outside in front of someone’s house. Plus as she says, she was there first, so people who purchased property there knew what was across the road.
Maybe if the Consum Bars followed her lead and kept the noise inside not outside then the residents could live alongside the bars. Maybe if they really wanted to work with the local residents, then in order for the locals to get a reasonable night’s sleep, then maybe they should shut up shop at 12:30pm.
Talking to a Spanish friend who lives very close to the Bars, he tells me it is not the occasional night, it is every single night and has gotten a lot worse as shops etc are being turned into bars. He also says that he is planning on moving out of his home this summer to stay with friends in Santa Pola as it is impossible to sleep as the bars are open until 4:30am & later, love it, the Brit’s driving the locals out???
I am not sure if it still applies, however a friend of ours rented a quad a couple of years ago for a holiday, he came home at about 11 pm sat on the terrace with a CD player only to be told that no noise outside that late at night. Seems like a good rule, could that could be applied to the Bars, everyone inside after 11:30 or 12pm.
Finally, I am not against the bars, however I am against the customers often the worse for wear, shouting outside my house on the way home in the early hours, especially as some of the language is not what one likes to hear F***** etc Not very nice when you have ver young children in the house.
