FOOD FOR THE NEEDY....

As of tommorow Impact charity will have a collection basket in the shop for donated food for the needy. The food will then be passed onto the town hall for them to dispense when needed. Impact charity will be making a monthly donation of food towards this as well.
On a slightly different note we will aslo have a collection box in the shop for EMAUS. This collection box is for stuff like tooth-paste,deodorant,soaps and shower gel. This will be dispensed to everyone that is in the care of EMAUS this includes children,young adults,the elderly and disabled people too..........

I like the idea of "food for the needy." The last few months of debate has given reason to some thoughts.

Are there other ways to help? Is there anyone who needs help at home or in the garden, which can pay some of the needy for a few hours of work? It gives more self-respect when you do something instead of just enjoying.

Young people can learn from the elder people some saving tips. The elder people has more experience with crises. Do you have some advice?

The unfortunate who have lost their jobs – what talents are not used? Is it possible to know more about this. Maybe these talents can be used in the urb and can give small jobs or voluntary jobs without pay. It is better for the health to do something meaningful than sit home and maybe do nothing.
