Last life drawing before September • Martin the artist
This Friday, 14th June, will be the last sessions until September.
The morning session will be from 10am to midday & the afternoon session will be 2.30pm to 4.30pm - so any staying to both will have time to use the pool and have free wine & tapas before th afternoon session.
As artists know, life drawing is probably the most important discipline being both the hardest & easiest... But the saying is true that 'if you can draw life you can draw anything' - & I certainly find that it gives me the confidence to tackle any suject/commission.
But the workshops are not just for accomplished artists, they are also good for beginners too.
They are not strict regulated classes, but just a chance for anyone to have a go & experiment whilst I am on hand to give tips, advice, etc. as required in an informal atmosphere.
I provide all materials: easel, charcoal, pastels (chalks), paper, model, etc free, and the only cost is the models fee divided between those attending. (At present that means the maximum cost for the morning would be 10€ & 15€ for the afternoon - but bring a friend too & the cost goes down of course!)
And don't worry that you're not 'good enough' - no-one will say your work is bad except you.
And you won't offend the model either. She's a professional and seen it all before.
The model this week is Nienke, pictuered below, who is coming from London specially to sit for us, so why not come & give it a go?
Let me know & I'll look forward to welcoming you to my litttle studio.
